Diamond Squirrels skitter along deep underground ledges and subterranean gemstone tree trunks. Clothed in sparkling white crystal fur, they carry 5 health and retreat from hostile cavern monsters. Defeating one yields a Diamond, though catching it with a Bug Net enables players to build a Diamond Squirrel Cage or claim considerable vendor gold.
