Secret seeds are special texts you type as the world seed when creating a world. Instead of a normal seed they turn on a special world type. The game then picks a random seed, so every such world is different: below are maps and downloads of example worlds for each one.

You can combine secret seeds. The game's Copy Seed button gives a copied seed such as 1.1.1.32.1032 that recreates a secret-seed world exactly; paste it into the Seed Map.

Drunk world

The world has both Corruption and Crimson, structures and colors are mixed up, and the Otherworldly soundtrack plays.

The 37 new secret seeds of 1.4.5

Terraria 1.4.5 added 37 more secret seeds. Type one as the seed text when you create a world; case, spaces and punctuation do not matter. Combine them with |, for example jagged rocks|planetoids, and add a number at the end to fix the seed: jagged rocks|planetoids|12345. They also combine with the classic secret seeds above: all of them at once, except Skyblock, make the "True Zenith" world.

Each seed has an example map: the generator in your browser makes the world from the seed text plus a number (jagged rocks|12345), the same world the game makes, which takes about 20 seconds for a small one. The text alone, without the number, gets a random seed in the game, so it does not name one world. For a world of your own, paste its copied seed into the Seed Map.
