Zombie Elves form the vanguard of the Frost Moon event, invading in early waves once the Naughty Present is used to summon the winter assault at dusk. Unlike ordinary surface undead that amble slowly, Zombie Elves sprint across snowfields at high velocity. With 600 life in Classic (increasing to 720 in Expert and 1,080 in Master), they soak up considerable firepower while rushing players with 65 contact damage. Piercing weapons, broad sweeping whips, and flame traps are ideal for mowing down their tight clusters before bosses take the stage.

Clearing holiday crowds for elf vanity garments

Defeating Zombie Elves contributes crucial kill points toward advancing the event wave counter. In addition to accelerating the event, they have a slight chance to drop pieces of the festive Elf vanity costume: the Elf Hat, Elf Shirt, and Elf Pants each drop at a 0.17% rate. Because they appear in dense mobs during the initial waves, players maintaining high damage arenas can often collect the entire holiday wardrobe in a single successful winter night.
