Culinary preparation using rare golden wildlife
Cooked at a Cooking Pot using any captured gold critter, Golden Delight provides the Exquisitely Stuffed buff for 48 minutes. This meal grants +4 defense, +4% critical strike chance, +10% damage, +10% minion knockback, +40% movement speed, and +15% mining speed alongside improved health regeneration.
Evaluating extended stat bonuses versus mercantile profit
At 48 minutes of duration, this feast lasts through two full in-game day-night cycles, exceeding all other meals. Because gold critters sell to town merchants for 10 gold coins, players must weigh rapid monetary wealth against long-lasting premier combat enhancements during challenging hardmode boss fights.
Trivia
- Provides 48 minutes of Exquisitely Stuffed, the longest food buff duration in the game.
- Can be cooked from any captured golden creature, such as a gold bunny, frog, or worm.
