Night Owl Potion grants the Night Owl buff for 10 minutes upon consumption. The elixir increases the brightness and illumination radius emitted by the player and surrounding light sources, clearing dark shadows in cavern networks and revealing uneven terrain, pit traps, and submerged ledges from a safer distance.
Early game alchemy pairing with radiant illumination
Crafted using Bottled Water, Daybloom, and Blinkroot at a placed Bottle or Alchemy Table, the potion uses minimal early resources. Pairing it with a Shine Potion produces a wide luminous field that illuminates entire cavern chambers without requiring constant placement of wall torches.
Trivia
- Night Owl Potion amplifies existing light sources but cannot produce illumination in absolute pitch-black darkness on its own.
