Unrivaled chest defense and warrior threat generation
Forged at an Ancient Manipulator from 16 Luminite Bar units and 20 Solar Fragment pieces, the Solar Flare Breastplate offers 34 defense. This represents the highest defense rating on any standalone armor item in the game. In addition to physical resilience, the chestplate increases melee damage by 29%, accelerates passive health regeneration, and compels monsters to target the wearer, creating a staunch defensive bulwark.
Solar shield absorption and offensive dash impact
Equipping this cuirass alongside the Solar Flare Helmet and Solar Flare Leggings activates the solar shield set bonus. The armor produces up to 3 orbiting shields that absorb 30% of incoming attack damage. Double-tapping movement keys expends a shield charge to initiate a burning dash, damaging enemies on impact while maintaining stalwart defense through high-pressure boss encounters.
Trivia
- The increased enemy aggro trait draws enemy projectile volleys away from fragile teammates.
