The Corite is a sentient molten meteor that rockets across the sky in the domain of the celestial Solar Pillar. Featuring 600 health and 26 defense, it locks onto airborne players and executes blinding supersonic charges through solid blocks, dealing 70 contact damage in Classic, 140 in Expert, and 210 in Master mode.
Evading supersonic dives through solid tile barriers
Corites pose an extreme danger to players flying with wings or mounts, as their high-speed charges curve directly toward targets in mid-air. Because they ignore solid blocks, hiding inside enclosed bunkers does not provide protection. Staying close to the ground and utilizing quick dash gear like the Shield of Cthulhu allows players to sidestep their fiery charges safely.
