Colossal cosmic fire serpents ruling solar skies
The Crawltipede is a colossal fire centipede that dominates the airspace above the celestial Solar Pillar. Boasting an immense 10,000 health pool and 1,000 defense on its body segments, this titanic worm ignores grounded players entirely. However, if a player flies into the air, it immediately locks on and strikes for 120 contact damage in Classic, 240 in Expert, and 360 in Master mode.
Targeting the glowing tail orb from grounded footholds
Every body segment of the Crawltipede is nearly immune to harm due to extreme defense, with one critical exception: the glowing orb at the tip of its tail. Striking its tail deals ten times normal weapon damage, allowing focused attacks to annihilate it swiftly. Staying firmly planted on solid ground prevents the Crawltipede from ever initiating an attack.
Trivia
- Crawltipedes will completely ignore players as long as they remain on or very near ground level.
- Attacking the glowing tail segment inflicts 10x damage, shredding its large health pool rapidly.
