Drops
Ghost drops nothing in the game's drop rules.
Ethereal stalking through subterranean graveyards
Spawning when gravestones cluster into a Graveyard mini-biome or when tombstones are broken underground, the Ghost drifts toward players regardless of terrain obstacles. Solid granite, dungeon brick, and dirt walls offer no resistance as it floats along a direct diagonal path. In Classic mode, it pursues its target with 50 life and 4 defense, striking for 15 base contact damage before dissipating under focused weapon fire.
Phasing trajectories and tombstone triggers
Mining tombstones during early exploration or traversing a foggy cemetery without adequate lighting makes surprise ambushes frequent. Because the entity ignores knockback to a significant degree, sweeping swords or piercing magic spells work best to intercept its straight-line charges through cavern walls. In Expert mode its endurance increases to 100 life and 30 damage, making ranged weapons with high projectile velocity the safest counter.
Trivia
- Ghosts ignore all solid tiles, floating directly through blocks toward the player.
- Destroying placed tombstones underground carries a chance to spawn a Ghost immediately.
