Shallow Water Walking Boots and aquatic looting
Explorers who dig slightly below the eastern surface will encounter a shallow flooded pocket. Inside this submerged alcove sits a Water Chest positioned 448 ft east and 138 ft below the surface, located 488 ft from spawn. Looting this chest grants Water Walking Boots, one of 6 pairs generated across the map.
Equipping Water Walking Boots allows you to run across the surface of oceans and deep cavern lakes without sinking, which removes the need to place wooden bridges across wide water basins.
Reaching the Starfury floating island
The sky layer above contains 3 floating islands. The closest island is located 622 ft east and 434 ft above the surface, sitting 720 ft from spawn. Opening the Skyware Chest on this island yields a Starfury, providing fallen star strikes that light up underground chambers as you explore.
A second island rests higher up 1182 ft east and 414 ft above the surface, containing a Shiny Red Balloon at a distance of 1,228 ft from spawn. Looting both islands provides strong defensive and mobility advantages early in the game.
Shallow Magic Mirror and western shrine
Deeper mining through the rock layer leads to a Gold Chest positioned 752 ft east and 414 ft below the surface, measuring 888 ft from spawn, which contains a Magic Mirror. The surrounding stone also contains deposits of Copper, Lead, Tungsten, Platinum, including Platinum ore veins for crafting high-tier armor sets.
Journeying far to the west brings you near 1 sword shrine buried 2694 ft west and 6 ft below the surface, at a distance of 2,698 ft from spawn. The Dungeon stands on the east perimeter of the map.
