Wetland skimming and agile net capture
With shimmering cyan wings, this dragonfly darts above marshy wetlands and surface pools during windy weather events. Its rapid accelerations make snaring it with a Bug Net easier when jumping from elevated wooden platforms or dashing forward along lake shorelines. Sealing one inside a glass Bottle constructs a Blue Dragonfly Jar for animated home lighting and pleasant terrarium rooms.
Freshwater angling efficiency and surplus sales
Delivering 20% bait power, this creature matches the bait potency of snails and mid-grade butterflies for lake angling. It provides a convenient substitute for worms during dry windy spells when rain is absent across the world. Catching several specimens also offers modest coin gains, selling to merchants for 10 silver per insect to help fund mining supplies, rope coils, wooden arrows, torches, and ammunition.
Trivia
- Darts across water surfaces at high speeds, reversing direction when startled.
- Can be bottled to create an animated critter jar that sits on furniture.
