The Christmas Tree Sword is obtained as a drop from Everscream during the Frost Moon invasion, with drop rates scaling upward in later waves of the event. Each swing delivers 86 base melee damage with 7 knockback while launching a star projectile straight ahead. As this piercing star travels forward, it continuously scatters festive baubles that arc outward and fall under gravity, blanketing the ground below in bouncing explosives that strike grounded enemies multiple times.

Carpet bombing tactics and melee reforging

Unlike broadswords that shoot straight projectiles like the Terra Blade, this weapon excels at bombarding targets below the player from sky platforms or elevated arenas. The falling ornaments allow warriors to carpet-bomb floor terrain while evading ground charges from heavy bosses. It pairs effectively with accessories that boost melee swing speed, which in turn increases the density of dropping ornaments. The Legendary modifier provides the optimal boost to swinging speed, damage, and critical strike chance.
