The Cobalt Naginata is fashioned from 10 Cobalt Bar ingots at an Iron Anvil or Lead Anvil. As an entry-level Hardmode polearm, it executes a straight-line thrust dealing 44 base melee damage. Its spearhead strikes targets multiple times along its forward trajectory, halting charging ground creatures before they make contact. Players can safely poke through thin platforms and doorway gaps to dispatch tough subterranean foes without exposing themselves to retaliation.
