Forged at a Tinkerer's Workshop by combining a Mechanical Glove with a Magma Stone. This heavy gauntlet grants 12% increased melee damage and melee speed, increases melee knockback, expands weapon size by 10%, enables autoswing on all melee weapons and whips, and inflicts the Hellfire debuff upon striking foes. Hellfire burns enemies for high damage over time while preventing health regeneration. The enlarged weapon hitbox helps hit flying monsters.

Melee autoswing utility and glove tier stacking

The Fire Gauntlet serves as premier endgame offensive handwear for melee fighters. Melee warriors often wear it concurrently with the Mechanical Glove, stacking their respective damage, melee speed, and knockback bonuses for devastating point-blank melee DPS across boss arenas. The autoswing feature also relieves repetitive hand strain when swinging heavy broadswords continuously. Reforging to Violent pushes melee attack speeds to extreme rates, while Menacing maximizes raw hit impact.

• Updated in modern patches to inflict the Hellfire debuff rather than basic On Fire.
