Helium Moss Fishing Bobber

Cavern moss crafting and purple illumination

Assembled at a Work Bench using a Glowing Fishing Bobber and 5 Helium Moss pieces, this specialized bobber grants 10 fishing power to the angler. When cast into lakes or underground pools, the lure radiates a rich purple glow across the surrounding water. Its deep violet radiance illuminates murky depths, providing clear contrast against underwater cavern stone and mud where seeing normal fishing lines proves difficult.

Vanity slot benefits and bobber mechanics

The 10 fishing power provided by this bobber does not stack with identical bonuses from standard or alternate moss bobbers. However, equipping it in a vanity accessory slot changes the color of your active fishing lure without replacing functional equipment. Anglers seeking distinct visual aesthetics during prolonged cavern fishing sessions use it to monitor line twitches and crate bites across murky underground waters. This lets dedicated anglers keep their favorite visual aesthetics without compromising gear loadouts.

Trivia

• Helium Moss was introduced in the 1.4.4 update, growing in deep underground cavern environments.
• Placing this bobber in a social slot preserves its custom purple glow while freeing combat accessory slots.
