Work bench crafting and illuminated angling
Crafted at a Work Bench by combining a basic Fishing Bobber with 5 Fallen Star items, the Glowing Fishing Bobber provides 10 fishing power to your angling character. Floating upon any pool of water, honey, or lava, the lure sheds a bright white light. This luminous glow helps players keep clear visual focus on their line when night falls or while casting into deep cavern chambers. Anglers can spot subtle line twitches without placing lighting along the shoreline.
Moss bobber conversions and vanity usage
Beyond its standalone fishing benefits, the glowing bobber acts as the core material for crafting five distinct moss bobber variants at a Work Bench. Combining it with cavern moss creates vibrant lures such as the Argon Moss Fishing Bobber and Lava Moss Fishing Bobber. Placing the bobber into a social accessory slot lets you enjoy its visual light without occupying an active functional equipment slot.
Trivia
- The bobber sheds steady light in water, honey, and lava, helping anglers spot bites in pitch darkness.
