Orichalcum Headgear

Crafting the orichalcum magic circlet

Smelted from 12 Orichalcum Bar ingots at either a Mythril Anvil or Orichalcum Anvil, this circlet provides 4 defense. It bolsters magic capability by granting an 18% magic critical strike chance and expanding maximum mana by 80 points, surpassing Mythril in raw burst potential and mana capacity during early Hardmode expeditions across underground biomes.

Summoning piercing petals with magic attacks

Donning this headgear alongside Orichalcum Breastplate and Orichalcum Leggings unlocks the petal barrage set bonus. Every spell impact has a chance to conjure vibrant flower petals that sweep horizontally across the screen, slicing through entire swathes of segments during battles against The Destroyer. The high innate critical strike rating ensures high magic DPS while the petals provide supplemental area-of-effect pressure.
