It forms the core body component for all three class variations of Palladium armor, establishing a balanced defensive and offensive baseline for newly arrived hardmode adventurers.

Enabling Rapid Healing and durability tradeoffs

Equipping this cuirass with Palladium Leggings and any Palladium headpiece activates the Rapid Healing set bonus, restoring health over 5 seconds after damaging an enemy. This steady regeneration operates while dealing ranged, magic, summon, or melee damage. Although Cobalt Breastplate costs 4 fewer bars and provides 5% critical chance, the Palladium Breastplate enables life recovery that noticeably improves survivability across prolonged boss fights and cavern exploration.
