Because Pink Thread is purchased from the Clothier for 1 gold per spool, crafting these trousers typically occurs after defeating Skeletron. They share identical defensive capabilities with normal snow trousers while offering an alternative magenta appearance.
Tundra hazard protection and set synergy
When equipped with any combination of snow headwear and coats, these trousers activate the Snow Armor set bonus, granting immunity to both Chilled and Frozen debuffs. This protection prevents Spiked Ice Slime needles and Ice Bat bites from immobilizing the wearer during underground ice expeditions.
