The Shroomite Mask is created from 12 Shroomite Bar ingots at a Mythril Anvil or Orichalcum Anvil. Supplying 11 defense, it enhances bullet damage by 12% and adds 5% ranged critical strike chance. This headpiece serves as the gun-centric choice of the Shroomite suite, boosting all firearms from rapid-fire machine guns and handguns to heavy high-caliber rifles across post-Plantera combat.

Sniper stealth synergies and high-velocity fire

Completing the suit with the Shroomite Breastplate and Shroomite Leggings unlocks the stealth set bonus when holding ground. Fully engaged stealth yields up to 60% bonus ranged damage, 10% critical strike chance, and diminished target priority from aggressive monsters. This mechanic pairs effectively with the Sniper Rifle for devastating single-target critical hits, as well as the Megashark, Chain Gun, or S.D.M.G. loaded with Chlorophyte Bullets.
