Vortex Breastplate

Luminite sharpshooter protection and ammunition preservation

Constructed at an Ancient Manipulator from 16 Luminite Bar units and 20 Vortex Fragment materials, the Vortex Breastplate reinforces ranged combatants with 28 defense. It provides a 12% increase to both ranged damage and ranged critical strike chance, alongside a 25% chance to conserve ammunition. Combining this trait with an Ammo Box drastically reduces consumable bullet and arrow consumption during intense skirmishes.

Tactical stealth cloak and projectile damage scaling

Uniting this chest armor with the Vortex Helmet and Vortex Leggings unlocks stealth mode activated by double-tapping down. While veiled, the player character turns semi-transparent, boosts ranged offensive stats, and drops monster target priority. While movement speed slows during stealth, pair it with hovering mounts or wings to deliver heavy volleys with weapons like the S.D.M.G. or Celebration Mk2.

Trivia

• The 25% ammo conservation bonus stacks additively with Ammo Reservation Potion effects.
• Allows archers and gunners to sustain long firing drills without running out of specialized munitions.
