Color-coded pyrotechnic rocket barrages
Celebration Mk2 drops from the Moon Lord, serving as a formidable replacement for the older Celebration launcher. Consuming standard rockets from the player's inventory, it converts each shot into pairs of specialty firework missiles selected across seven visual projectile patterns. These patterns include straight-flying beams, erratic zig-zagging missiles, and homing warheads that explode with vibrant particle bursts. Operating at an Insanely fast 6 use time with 10 knockback, it blankets the battlefield in explosive flashes while conserving ammo on half of all shots fired.
Explosive utility and launcher comparisons
Unlike conventional rocket launchers, Celebration Mk2 never destroys tiles regardless of whether Rocket II or Rocket IV ammunition is loaded, allowing rangers to output full firepower inside custom arenas without destroying platforms or scenery. It easily outdamages the Snowman Cannon and Electrosphere Launcher during crowded invasion events like the Martian Madness or Frost Moon. Reforging the weapon to the Unreal modifier grants maximum bonuses to velocity, damage, and critical strikes. While S.D.M.G. offers higher pinpoint single-target focus, Celebration Mk2 provides superior area denial.
Trivia
