Found growing wild on surface grass tiles near player tombstones or graves, Abigail's Flower is plucked by breaking the red blossom with any tool or weapon. Summoning it calls forth Abigail, an ethereal spirit dealing 6 base summon damage and 2 knockback at a Very slow tempo. Rather than spawning multiple distinct ghosts with extra minion slots, each additional slot assigned accelerates Abigail's movement velocity, attack rate, and area-of-effect damage.
Slot stacking acceleration and Hardmode scaling
Abigail's Flower grants accessible early-game minion utility without requiring boss progression, ore mining, or rare fishing catches. When transitioning into Hardmode, Abigail automatically receives a substantial damage scaling upgrade, allowing her to stay viable against early mechanical encounters when paired with whip tags like Snapthorn. She excels at drifting through solid blocks to pursue evasive targets across cavern rooms. Reforging to Ruthless is optimal, providing the strongest baseline damage increase per invested minion slot.
