Crafted at a standard Work Bench using six Flinx Fur and ten Gold Bars or Platinum Bars, the Flinx Staff is the earliest craftable summoner weapon in class progression. It summons a playful Snow Flinx familiar that bounds across uneven ground, dealing 8 base summon damage and 2 knockback at a Very slow summoning cadence. Flinx minions aggressively rush grounded targets with rapid somersault bounces, rolling continuously into enemy hitboxes.
Early summoner foundation and fur coat synergy
The Flinx Staff frees summoners from relying on low-chance slime staff drops before facing bosses. Wearing the matching Flinx Fur Coat increases minion capacity and amplifies flinx damage output during early cavern exploration. When targeting foes marked by Snapthorn, the rapid collision rate of multiple flinxes inflicts severe tag-amplified damage against early bosses like Eye of Cthulhu. Reforging to Ruthless provides the highest minion strike efficiency by raising base damage.
