| Adamantite Helmet | 12 × Adamantite Bar | Mythril Anvil |
Heavy alloy headpiece and raw melee striking power
Crafted from 12 Adamantite Bar ingots at a hardmode anvil, the Adamantite Helmet delivers 22 defense for close-quarters warriors. It boosts melee damage by 14% and raises melee critical strike chance by 7%. This piece represents the highest individual defense available among all tier-3 hardmode ore helmets, offering rugged baseline protection when trading blows with dangerous foes.
Rapid momentum set bonus and close-quarters brawling
When paired with Adamantite Breastplate and Adamantite Leggings, the full set reaches 50 total defense and activates a 20% increase to both melee attack speed and movement speed. This velocity allows melee fighters to swing broadswords and spears rapidly, overwhelming approaching enemies and evading boss charges during chaotic encounters with the mechanical trio. The combined attack cadence and defensive bulk make it a formidable platform for broadsword and flail wielders.
