Produced at a Mythril Anvil or Orichalcum Anvil by reinforcing an Angler Vest with 10 Adamantite Bar or Titanium Bar ingots, this chestpiece delivers 12 defense. Like other components of the suit, it awards 5 additional fishing power to improve catch quality and rare crate chances during lakeside expeditions and ocean shoreline exploration.
Defensive utility during hazardous fishing expeditions
Wearing the vest alongside Captain Hat and Captain Pants completes the suit and activates the Angler set bonus, dampening monster generation around the pool. Anglers no longer need to risk instant death from Hardmode cavern bats or desert scorpions when casting lines for quest fish or armored cavefish.
