Avian drops across the upper skyline
Chicken Nugget is an uncrafted consumable dropped by Harpy enemies in the Sky and Space layers at a 2% rate. Consuming this poultry grants Plenty Satisfied for 14 minutes, boosting defense by 3, critical strike chance by 3%, damage and minion knockback by 7.5%, and movement speed by 30% and mining speed by 10% alongside stronger health regeneration.
High-altitude foraging for mid-tier battle prep
Sky bridge construction and hunting for floating islands naturally yield batches of Chicken Nuggets. Its 14-minute duration surpasses basic tier-one food, making it practical for boss arenas without fishing. The Tier 2 stat bonuses help cushion incoming hits during early Hardmode transitions.
Trivia
- The tongue-in-cheek tooltip 'Caution: may contain harpy.' nods to the winged monsters that drop it.
- Chicken Nugget is one of several food items in Terraria that cannot be cooked at cooking stations.
