Available from the Tavernkeep for 15 Defender Medals after felling any one mechanical boss, the Flameburst Cane establishes a tier-two artillery turret on any solid surface. It detects approaching foes from afar and launches flaming mortar rounds in an arched parabolic flight path. Each landing blast deals 42 sentry damage, igniting the impact zone and setting surviving monsters ablaze with the On Fire! debuff.
Apprentice robe enhancement and anti-air utility
The sentry gains notable performance enhancements when paired with Apprentice's Robe, which broadens its firing vision and expands its fireball impact radius significantly. Because sentry firing intervals do not scale with weapon swing speed, the Ruthless modifier is optimal for maximizing single-hit damage. It offers superior anti-air defense against Wyverns and flying Old One's Army invaders compared to ground-locked spike traps.
