Frost Leggings

Sub-zero greaves and swift combat velocity

Forged at a hardmode anvil with 16 Adamantite Bar or Titanium Bar ingots and 1 Frost Core, Frost Leggings provides 13 defense. It increases movement speed by 8% and melee attack speed by 10%. Defeating an Ice Golem during blizzard weather conditions in the snow biome yields the rare core necessary for forging these icy greaves at a hardmode crafting anvil.

Frostbite infliction and frost armor cohesion

Completing the armor set with Frost Breastplate and Frost Helmet unlocks the set bonus, increasing melee and ranged damage by 10% and causing physical attacks to inflict Frostbite. Dealing 25 damage per second, Frostbite rapidly depletes enemy health pools. The movement and melee speed bonuses on these leggings further improve mobility and striking tempo during intense arena encounters against rapid hardmode adversaries like the mechanical bosses.
