| Hallowed Plate Mail | 24 × Hallowed Bar | Mythril Anvil |
Sanctified chestpiece construction and critical precision
Constructed from 24 Hallowed Bar ingots at a hardmode anvil, Hallowed Plate Mail provides 15 defense. It provides a universal 7% increase to critical strike chance across all combat classes. Requiring bars dropped by mechanical bosses, this torso piece represents a foundational defensive upgrade for characters transitioning past the initial hardmode ore phase into intermediate boss encounters.
Modular set integration and Holy Protection activation
As the central component of all four Hallowed armor sets, this breastplate combines with any Hallowed helmet and greaves to grant the Holy Protection bonus. When an attack connects with a target, the wearer receives an invulnerability buff that absorbs one hit before entering a 30-second cooldown. Players can also submerge this piece into shimmer to transmute it into Ancient Hallowed Plate Mail without losing defensive utility.
Trivia
- Requires 24 Hallowed Bars, making it the most material-intensive piece of the set.
- Converts into Ancient Hallowed Plate Mail when submerged in shimmer liquid.
