Mythril Greaves

Mid-tier alloy greaves and universal critical strikes

Manufactured from 15 Mythril Bar ingots at a Mythril Anvil or Orichalcum Anvil, Mythril Greaves supply 9 defense. This leg armor provides a flat 10% increase to critical strike chance across all damage classes. This universal offensive bonus makes the greaves a versatile component for hybrid fighters and specialized loadouts alike, augmenting both weapon strikes and spell bursts without restriction.

Class set bonuses and comparison with Orichalcum

As part of the complete Mythril set alongside Mythril Chainmail, these greaves contribute to class-specific set bonuses such as reduced mana consumption, increased melee critical strike chance, or ammo preservation. Compared to Orichalcum Leggings, which grant 8% damage and 11% movement speed with 9 defense, Mythril Greaves sacrifice movement velocity to maximize raw critical hit frequency across diverse early hardmode weapons.
