Defeating king slime for stealth gear
This mask drops from King Slime with a 33.3% chance following victory. Equipping it into the helmet armor slot confers 2 defense and grants a 3% boost to universal critical strike chance. It acts as the head component of the three-piece Ninja suit alongside the shirt and pants, enhancing offensive potential across early subterranean biomes. The critical strike bonus benefits melee blades, bows, and thrown shurikens alike.
Set bonus sprint speed and agility
Assembling this hood with Ninja Shirt and Ninja Pants unlocks the full set bonus: +20% movement speed and an afterimage visual effect while running. This rapid foot speed helps players dodge incoming attacks from surface bosses without relying strictly on early accessory boots. The critical strike increase benefits every weapon category equally during early cave exploration.
Trivia
