The Orichalcum Waraxe serves as a dual-purpose timber tool and heavy melee weapon, hammered together from 12 Orichalcum Bar pieces at a Mythril Anvil or Orichalcum Anvil. Delivering 41 base melee damage and 6.5 knockback across a broad arc, it knocks flying enemies away while cutting trees. Its 90% axe power brings down thick forest trunks, mahogany giants, and pearlwood saplings in quick fashion.
Woodcutting efficiency versus continuous mechanical saws
While the Orichalcum Chainsaw channels a forward cutting stream, the waraxe provides broader spatial defense when chopping wood in hazardous Hardmode environments.
