Continuous tree harvesting and titanium metallurgy
The Titanium Chainsaw is an automated logging device providing 105% axe power for harvesting surface timber and subterranean glowing mushrooms. Forged at a Mythril Anvil or Orichalcum Anvil using 13 Titanium Bar ingots, it strikes continuously in front of the player, dealing 34 base melee damage and 4.6 knockback. This continuous contact allows it to chop through wood while simultaneously batting away approaching cavern critters.
Fixed cycle operation and reforge choices
Chainsaws function on fixed internal cycle rates and cannot gain speed improvements from melee attack speed equipment or the Light modifier. Players reforging this implement should target the Godly or Demonic prefix to increase base damage and critical strike probability. While the swinging Titanium Waraxe offers greater single-strike impact, this chainsaw provides convenient continuous cutting that requires only holding down the mouse button.
