Rapid ore burrowing and fixed cadence digging
The Titanium Drill provides 190% pickaxe power, capable of excavating every early Hardmode mineral vein including Adamantite and Titanium. Crafting it requires 20 Titanium Bar ingots at a Mythril Anvil or Orichalcum Anvil. When channeled, it projects forward to inflict 27 base melee damage with low 0.5 knockback, burrowing through stone and hardened sand along the player's aim line.
Cavern mineral extraction and pickaxe comparison
Compared to the Titanium Pickaxe, the drill cannot accelerate its cycle rate through mining speed potions or melee accessories. It operates on a fixed digging interval, making the Godly or Demonic modifier best for boosting damage and critical strikes rather than seeking swing speed. While it cannot mine Chlorophyte Ore (which requires 200% pickaxe power), it reliably establishes deep cavern tunnels prior to defeating mechanical bosses.
