Monitoring time precisely helps players time the arrival of travelling merchants and organize fishing quests according to scheduled morning resets.

Mechanism manufacturing and passive utility

At an Iron Anvil, combining this watch with wire creates the 3 Second Timer for pulsing traps, statue spawners, and automated pumps. Unlike weapons, the watch provides its informational readout while sitting in the general inventory or a portable storage piggy bank. Upgrading to gold or platinum is required later to forge the full GPS at a Tinkerer's Workshop, making silver watches a reliable mid-tier stepping stone.
