Squire's Plating

Heavy plate resilience and dual damage boosting

Bought from the Tavernkeep for 15 Defender Medals after defeating any mechanical boss. Offering 27 defense, it boosts both melee damage and summon damage by 15%. This heavy breastplate forms the core torso defense of the tier-two Squire set alongside Squire's Great Helm and Squire's Greaves, standing as a fortress of protection for melee summoners facing dangerous adversaries.

Early hardmode tanking and stationary sentry firepower

With 27 defense, this plating provides some of the highest protection of any early Hardmode chest piece, surpassing standard ore armors and chlorophyte gear. When worn as a complete set, Ballista sentries gain 7 enemy piercing and fire rapidly when the player sustains damage. Hybrid warriors can plant Ballista Cane sentries to hammer heavy foes while absorbing hits on the frontline with ease during intense invasion waves and dungeon skirmishes.
