Huntress's Jerkin

Tavernkeep medal barter and dual damage scaling

The Huntress's Jerkin is purchased from the Tavernkeep for 15 Defender Medal items after defeating any mechanical boss. Providing 17 defense, it boosts both summon and ranged damage by 20% while adding a 10% chance to conserve ammunition. This hybrid balance makes it a versatile chest armor piece for archers and gunners who incorporate minions and sentries into their arsenal during mid-Hardmode farming and invasion defenses.

Explosive Trap coordination and oiled debuff synergies

Equipping this tunic with Huntress head and leg pieces forms the Huntress set, which enhances Explosive Trap sentries with broader reach and applies the Oiled debuff to targets. Igniting oiled foes with fire-inflicting weapons such as Hellfire Arrow or Molten Fury inflicts heavy damage over time. The 20% ranged buff also bolsters rapid-fire weapons like the Megashark or Daedalus Stormbow when defending the crystal.
