Empress of Light concert and homing musical stars
Dropped by the Empress of Light with a 2% drop rate in Classic mode, or 5% in Expert and Master modes. Strumming this enchanted guitar consumes 12 mana per burst at Very fast velocity with a 12 use time, sending pairs of star-shaped note projectiles toward the cursor. The stars track hostile targets, pass cleanly through solid terrain, and explode upon target impact. It hits for 85 base magic damage, 1.5 knockback, and a high innate 24% critical strike rate.
Homing aerial superiority and late-game spell comparison
Stellar Tune delivers consistent homing damage during evasive boss fights, allowing spellcasters to focus purely on dodging. While its single-target burst is slightly below the Razorpine or Bat Scepter at point-blank range, its ability to phase through walls and home from great distances makes it strong for fighting agile flying bosses like Duke Fishron or the Lunar Events.
Trivia
- Aiming the cursor at different vertical angles changes the acoustic guitar pitch produced when firing the weapon.
- The star projectiles emit glowing pastel dust trails matching the prismatic visual palette of the Empress of Light.
