Tome of Infinite Wisdom

Dual-cast spellbook mechanics and ground tornados

Dropped by the Ogre during Tier 2 of the Old One's Army event. This enchanted tome offers two distinct attack modes. Left Click fires a tight stream of spinning parchment pages that pierce multiple hostiles at high speed, consuming little mana per projectile. Right Click summons a sweeping tornado for 20 mana that rolls along the ground across terrain, hitting enemies repeatedly for 36 base magic damage while launching them into the air with 9 knockback.

Corridor area denial and mechanical boss suppression

The secondary tornado functions as a potent area denial tool along flat surfaces, clearing invasion lanes during Old One's Army waves and Solar Eclipses without demanding fine aim. It also inflicts continuous multi-hits against large targets like The Destroyer. When facing dispersed aerial enemies, switching to the primary page stream provides concentrated single-target fire. It competes with magic options like the Crystal Storm and Meteor Staff. Mythical is the premier modifier, reducing mana cost while boosting damage and critical strike chance.

Trivia

• The rolling tornado can travel across hundreds of flat blocks before its duration expires, shredding ground enemies along its path.
• Its humorous tooltip questions the logic of attaching an ancient tome of wisdom onto the end of a wooden stick.
