Inflicting 150 base magic damage with 6.66 knockback, the projectile travels at high velocity, illuminates surrounding terrain, and pierces up to 2 enemies before expiring upon the third hit.

Heavy burst magic and mana management

Providing some of the heaviest single-hit magic damage available before tackling Plantera, the Unholy Trident is capable of eliminating tough Underworld monsters in few strikes. When compared against rapid-fire spells like the Crystal Serpent or Sky Fracture, it offers high burst damage against clustered foes and multi-segmented targets like The Destroyer. Mythical is the optimal modifier for speed and mana efficiency.
