Questions
How much damage does storm lightning do in 1.4.5.3?
Damage to players is now 80/160/240 on Classic/Expert/Master, down from 200/300/400. Legendary difficulty damage is unchanged.
Can I turn off the lightning flashes?
Yes. The Thunder Effects toggle in the Video -> Effects menu disables the visual flashes from lightning. It does not stop lightning strikes.
Does lightning still happen during blizzards?
No. Storm lightning no longer appears during blizzards.
What should I do if the game will not launch on Linux?
For a black screen or no launch, try /gldevice:OpenGL or repair your Vulkan drivers. Linux now falls back to OpenGL automatically where Vulkan is not fully supported.
