Distorting matriarchs of the vortex swarm
Hovering dominantly above the Vortex Pillar battlefield, the Alien Queen is the dangerous matriarch of the lunar insect swarm. Boasting 1,000 health and 44 defense, she discharges disruptive energy bolts while delivering 100 contact damage in Classic, 200 in Expert, and 300 in Master mode upon impact.
Counters to distorted gravity and post-mortem larva bursts
The Alien Queen's projectiles inflict the Distorted debuff, temporarily suspending player gravity and rendering normal jumping and dodging impossible. Furthermore, upon death, her body ruptures to spawn three Alien Larvae that immediately begin crawling. Maintaining distance with rapid homing weapons ensures players avoid her gravity-warping stingers while fighting off the horde.
