Electrified pelagic floaters drifting through ocean currents
Pink Jellyfish are dangerous aquatic cnidarians found swimming in the deep waters of the Ocean biome. Built with 70 health and 6 defense, a Pink Jellyfish deals 30 contact damage, increasing to 60 in Expert and 90 in Master mode. It periodically emits a pulsing electrical aura, shocking any diver who attempts to strike it with melee weapons during the surge.
Timing attacks around shocking electrical surges
When the Pink Jellyfish enters its electrified phase, players must pause melee attacks or switch to ranged spears and bows to prevent receiving retaliatory shock damage. Slaying a Pink Jellyfish yields Glowsticks at a 100% rate (1–4 units), the Jellyfish Necklace at 1%, and the Pink Jellyfish Kite at 2%.
Trivia
- Hitting a Pink Jellyfish with true melee weapons while it sparks electricity inflicts direct recoil damage on the player.
