Obtained as a 1% drop from Blue Jellyfish and Pink Jellyfish swimming through flooded cavern pockets. Equipping the necklace emits a subtle ambient light while on land that intensifies into bright illumination when submerged in liquid. This glowing aura dispels water murkiness, allowing adventurers to spot underwater chests, ores, and submerged traps without holding torches in their hands.
Deep dive apparatus crafting and ocean exploration
The necklace serves as an important bridge for extended underwater exploration gear. Combining it with a Diving Helmet at a Tinkerer's Workshop produces Jellyfish Diving Gear, blending breath extension with underwater lighting. Adding a Flipper and Ice Skates later on crafts Arctic Diving Gear, creating the premier marine traversal kit for deep ocean trenches and flooded caves.
Trivia
The illumination brightens not only in water, but also when submerged in honey or Shimmer.
The necklace emits faint sparkles around the player's chest when walking in total darkness.
It provides passive light even while frozen or immobilized by enemy status effects.
