Pixies are swift flying creatures that flutter across the surface Hallow during both day and night in Hardmode. Carrying 150 health and 20 defense, they dart through the air with rapid fluttering wings, inflicting 55 contact damage in Classic, 110 in Expert, and 165 in Master. They frequently spawn in small swarms, circling players and diving from unexpected angles while emitting bright fairy dust particles.
Pixie dust harvesting and ankh charm components
Farming Pixies is a staple activity of early Hardmode progression. Slaying them guarantees Pixie Dust at 100%, a foundational alchemy and crafting ingredient needed for Greater Healing Potions, Fairy Wings, and Holy Arrows. They also drop the Megaphone at a 1% rate and the Fast Clock at 1%, granting two essential immunity ingredients for completing the Ankh Shield.
