Winged gelatinous drifters descending from pastel skies
The Heavenly Slime is a flying celestial slime encountered across the surface Hallow and summoned during boss battles against Queen Slime. Possessing 120 health and 30 defense, it hovers on angelic white wings before descending onto intruders, dealing 50 contact damage in Classic, 100 in Expert, and 150 in Master. Its aerial maneuverability allows it to attack explorers from above.
Grounded defenses against diving aerial slimes
Because Heavenly Slimes drift downward while tracking movement, firing high-velocity bullets or swinging broad swords overhead repels them before they land. Eliminating a Heavenly Slime yields Gel at a 100% chance (1–2 units) and offers an elusive 0.01% rate to drop the Slime Staff. Clearing them quickly prevents aerial swarms from overwhelming players during chaotic Hallow expeditions.
Trivia
- Heavenly Slimes can bypass ground spikes and pit traps entirely due to their winged hovering mechanics.
