Enchanted Pixie Dust is a Hardmode mount summoning item dropped by Pixie enemies in the Hallow with a one in two hundred drop rate. This drop only becomes possible after the player has defeated at least one mechanical boss in the world. Pixies flutter frequently over Hallowed grass, making standard Hallow surface farms or water candle setups effective for collecting this glowing fairy dust.

Fairy transformation and nimble aerial navigation

Using Enchanted Pixie Dust transforms the player into an agile glowing Pixie rather than summoning a rideable beast. While in pixie form, the player enjoys hovering flight with immunity to falling damage and a compressed collision box. This compact silhouette enables nimble movement through tight gaps and allows players to slip between enemy projectiles during aerial skirmishes. However, attempting to swing weapons or place blocks immediately cancels the fairy guise, returning the character to human form.
