Adamantite spear forging and linear thrust defense
The Adamantite Glaive is forged from 12 Adamantite Bars at a Mythril Anvil or Orichalcum Anvil. Designed as a defensive thrusting spear, it extends forward along cursor coordinates at a 25 cycle, piercing through multiple enemies simultaneously while keeping them outside direct player contact range in subterranean tunnels.
Chokepoint control and godly modifier preference
Delivering 49 base melee damage backed by 6 knockback, the glaive holds off swarms of cavern enemies in confined corridors where sweeping broadswords might bounce off blocks. Pairing the glaive with magma stones or flasks applies elemental debuffs across every punctured target in the strike path. It thrusts at a slightly more deliberate pace than the Titanium Trident, and is eventually outshined by projectile spears such as the Mushroom Spear or Gungnir. Because spears cannot roll weapon size or attack speed prefixes, Godly serves as the premier modifier to maximize attack damage, knockback, and critical rate.
Trivia
- The extended shaft of the Adamantite Glaive inflicts damage along its entire length during the forward extension phase.
- Its crimson spear tip emits small spark particles when thrust into solid enemy hitboxes.
