Excalibur provides notable crowd clearing compared to narrower early Hardmode blades like the Night's Edge or Frostbrand. Beyond its combat prowess, the weapon serves as the mandatory foundation for late-game crafting: combining it with Chlorophyte Bars upgrades it into True Excalibur, an essential stepping stone toward the Zenith blade. Reforging to Legendary gives the maximum possible boost to damage, speed, and critical chance.
